Little League Residence Eligibility Rules

All players who live in the Town of Red Hook or attend school in the Town of Red Hook are eligible to register as Red Hook Little League players. All players who live in the Town of Rhinebeck or attend school in the Town of Rhinebeck are eligible to register as Rhinebeck Little League players.  The full text of the 2017 residency rules is online here

New League Age Determination Date for Baseball Players Born September 1, 2005 and Later

Little League International has changed the cut-off date for determining Baseball League Age to August 31, and will be implementing this new cut-off date over a 3- year period. For 2017, Baseball League Age will be determined as follows:

·       For players born on or before April 30, 2005: A player's 2017 League Age is that player's age on April 30, 2017. (The new age determination date of August 31 will be effective starting with the 2018 Little League Baseball Season. For the 2017 seasons, these players will use the April 30 age determination date.)

·       For players born between May 1, 2005 and August 31, 2005: A player's 2017 League Age is that player's age on April 30. 2017. (The new age determination date of August 31 will be effective starting with the 2019 Little League Baseball Season. For the 2016, 2017, 2018 season, these players will use the April 30 age determination date.)

·       For players born on or after September 1, 2005: A player's 2017 League Age is that player's age on August 31, 2017.
