RH / RBK 2020 Season Update for March 25

March 25, 2020 update:

As we monitor developments during this unprecedented time and draw up contingency plans, we continue with the postponement of any Little League activities until May 11.  We will continue to post updates to this page as they become available.  Once a final determination is reached on the 2020 Spring Season we will notify families by email as well.  

While we continue to hope that a spring season can be salvaged, the Red Hook and Rhinebeck Little League boards have approved, for the 2020 spring season, this temporary replacement (in bold+italics) to our refund policy:

Refunds at the request of the Registrant:

** Prior to the End of Regular Registration: Full refund less $20 

** After Regular Registration Closes until the First Practice: Full refund less $50

** After the First Practice: No Refunds

Refunds due to the cancellation of the 2020 Spring Season

** In the event that the 2020 Spring Season is cancelled due the pandemic, families will be refunded 100% of the registration fees paid up to the date of cancellation of the season.

The league bears costs upon registration (registration and/or Credit Card fees) as well as costs prior to team practices/games (uniforms, caps, equipment).  Due to these costs, our refund policy reduces the amount of refund for a cancelled participation.  If you have any questions, please contact the league.  Thank you for your understanding!

Whether that refund will be in the form of a check or card credit is to be determined.

We recognize that with these uncertain times comes financial implications in our neighborhoods.  If the registration fee now presents a financial hardship, please contact Jeff Cassens (rhinebeckll.treasurer@gmail.com) or Jim Mulvey (jmulvey43@gmail.com) to confidentially request an exception refund.
